Seawright (SWRI.OB) Gets Set to Go Nationwide

Seawright Springs (OTCBB: SWRI) has jumped into the bottled water market and is looking to make a splash. Seawright Springs is one of the largest sources of fresh, natural spring water on the eastern seaboard, and the company is looking to expand to a countrywide marketplace with distribution to all 50 states.Seawright made its first move to increase its market share by distributing to seven different Whole Foods Supermarkets around the Washington D.C. area. Whole Foods is the world’s leading natural and organic foods supermarket. The stores sell both sizes of bottled water that Seawright offers, and after selling its first shipments, has ordered another.

The company’s ability to gain attention and consumer satisfaction, in a supermarket like Whole Foods, provides the company with the confidence that its product could sell in all 50 states. The company is nearing a completion on finalizing its compliance to distribute its product nationally.

The company is currently working with SureFire Distributors, which has distribution rights to a very nice niche market, stretching from Annapolis to Baltimore. This will enable the company to build further brand awareness as it awaits completion of the compliance.

Seawright has begun preparing for national distribution by acquiring a new marketing team that focused on promotion of the product. The promotion team travels to retail stores where they give customers free bottles to help build brand awareness.

Environmentally conscientious, and organically thinking, Seawright is currently working on using corn-based, biodegradable plastics for its bottles; the company is also looking for alternatives to help reduce the amount of gasoline used in distribution. Seawright produces nearly 1.5 million gallons of water daily. With so much water being produced, the Seawright is looking for partners to produce private labels.

Currently, Seawright shares are trading at $1.00 per share, and since February the stock price has doubled. National distribution and the new marketing team seem to be a step in the right direction for Seawright as it tries to create brand awareness and gain more ground in the marketplace.
