Seamless Wi-Fi, Inc. has just announced that its subsidiary Seamless Internet, Inc. has entered into an agreement with Garmin USA, Inc., a world leader in GPS navigation technologies.
The deal grants Seamless Internet access to the Garmin Mobile™ XT software system, for use with its S-Gen™ UMPC (Ultra-Mobile Personal Computer). The S-Gen will facilitate GPS navigation as well as its various other capabilities including phone and multimedia functions. The unit will now provide turn-by-turn directions for travel to unfamiliar locations, or simply point the way to pre-programmed points of interest like restaurants, hotels, and other businesses.
John Domerego, President of Seamless Internet, Inc. said, “This agreement is a tremendous breakthrough in the development of the S-Gen(TM). We have been very cautious in selecting GPS software to use on our flagship product and Garmin is a world leader in GPS Satellite navigation. There is no one better and we are looking forward to a long business relationship with such an outstanding company.”
Forming a relationship with such a big name in consumer electronics is sure to increase Seamless Wi-Fi’s market visibility as Seamless Internet attempts to capitalize on the S-Gen unit.
