Save The World Air, Inc. (ZERO) Delivers Applied Oil Technology Product Prototype to US Department of Energy

Save The World Air, Inc., a company that engages in developing technology focused on energy efficiency of large-scale energy production and fuel economy for diesel fleets, has announced that a full scale Applied Oil Technology (AOT™) product prototype for supplemental oil viscosity has been delivered by its strategic partner, Colfax Corporation, to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Rocky Mountain Oilfield Testing Center (RMOTC) for field-scale testing. The testing center is located in Casper, Wyoming.

“We are excited to reach this stage and believe that deployment of AOT™ can positively impact the cost structure of transporting crude oil through pipelines with many added benefits,” stated Mr. Cecil Bond Kyte, Chairman and CEO of STWA, Inc. “We believe that AOT™ and its commercial implementation represent a game-changing opportunity for all those involved. Colfax Corporation and the U.S. DOE RMOTC personnel have performed admirably and we thank them for their tireless efforts.”

The Viscosity Reduction Unit 6” Line Application (VRU-6) is the Company’s prototype for its AOT™ Technology, which has undergone a 90-day laboratory testing cycle, scaling up the technology for utilization at the U.S. DOE RMOTC testing facility. The product shipped on Monday May 9th after being cleared of its technical validation objectives and arrived at the RMOTC facility on Friday, May 13th.

The RMOTC testing facility, which was built in 1999 by the Texaco Corporation and a chain of sub-sea industry members known as DeepSTAR, has been customized and furnished to accommodate Save The World Air, Inc. objectives for the testing of its AOT™, with a goal to measure its impact upon crude oil viscosity reduction and flow improvement. The official commencement of Phase II testing of the unit in field conditions began with the arrival of the AOT™ prototype to the facility. The arrival is expected to generate data under various conditions, which have been requested by the co-funding members of the project, Pipeline Research Council International (PRCI).

The testing serves purpose to further optimize and validate the prototype’s operational envelope to certify secure, reliable, and economically beneficial operations under various flow regimes, temperatures, and pump speeds. The testing is expected to generate valuable data the Company will integrate into its value proposition. The product meets and even exceeds its design guidelines and is prepared for installation for more rigorous testing at the U.S. DOE testing facility. The facility has undergone a redesign to be engineered and retrofitted to suit the Company’s testing and is now prepared for the installation of the prototype for further testing and 3rd party validation procedures.

The data, results, and summary for the project will be generated on-site and will be confirmed by the U.S. DOE on-site. Many members of the co-funding PRCI have requested for live demonstrations of the unit and unrestricted access to the reports and data for their personal calculations for their value chains.
