Safebrain Systems, President and CEO Michael Scott, enthusiastically announced earlier today a strategic partnership with MomsTeam.com and the Oklahoma’s Newcastle High school varsity football program.
MomsTEAM is currently the premier online youth sports brand and information gateway for youth sports parents in search of practical advice, as well as community, buying, product, and service information from a renown team of experts dedicated to the mission of a safer, less stressful and more affordable youth sports experience.
MomsTEAM choose SafeBrain as one of five Impact Sensors for the Newcastle OK, high school football team. The team will wear them during the 2013 football season for the filming of the 2014 version of “THE SMARTEST TEAM: Making High School Football Safer”; a documentary set to debut on PBS across the nation. The film discusses head injuries in youth and high school football, addressing that they pose daunting challenges, including sensational media coverage. SafeBrain is featured in the documentary, showing technology that proactively makes the game safer.
Mike Scott excitedly commented that, “Being selected for this documentary is an honor for SafeBrain. Working with Brooke de Lench, CEO of MomsTEAM has been an absolute pleasure. The opportunity through her website and “THE SMARTEST TEAM” documentary will bring the importance of SafeBrain directly into the living rooms of our target audience. Brooke has dedicated her life to providing information to parents, coaches and health care professionals on a wide array of youth sports topics. She has assembled a very impressive team of experts. In addition, the insight and experience that Newcastle players and staff bring to the company is unparalleled. There continues to be a tremendous increase in awareness and excitement for the SafeBrain CIA Sensors.”
