RRGI (RRGI.PK) takes Reality TV to the Racetrack

Reality television has taken the entertainment industry hostage – from the runway to deserted islands and many other overrun series. Reality Racing Inc. (Pink Sheets: RRGI) brings a refreshing twist to the trend, launching The Rookie Challenge.

Reality Racing kicks off its reality racing show to be aired on Spike TV. The series will premier as part of Spike TV’s Saturday morning “PowerBlock” on May 19, 2007, airing in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada.

The Rookie Challenge combines reality television with stockcar racing. At the end of the 13 series show, one contestant will drive away with a contract with professional racing team, cash prize, national exposure and gold championship ring.

The amateur drivers will be observed by a board of judges including NASCAR legends Bobby and Donnie Allison, and Cale Yarborough. The races start at Bronson Motor Speedway April 26, 2007.

News of the Rookie Challenge and its debut on Spike TV is good news for more than just the competing amateur drivers.

Last fall RRGI shares nearly crept to 40 cents then steadily slipped to a low of $0.01 in April of this year. Tuesday, April 24, 2007, marked the beginning of what’s become a trend reversal for the last two days. Shares opened Tuesday at $0.04 and since have leapt nearly 35 percent to $0.07 Wednesday afternoon.
