Rocket City Automotive Earning its Name in First Days of Trading

On the first day of trading the stock was up more than 2200% due to its partnerships with eBay Motors, Carfax and Toyota Dealers. The company’s main technology revolves around a listing manager, under the name of CompleteAuto, which aids in the listing of vehicles on online auction sites such as eBay. The program was recently certified by eBay Motors for use within the new Local market program recently launched by eBay. The program represents a new technology for dealers to sell not only through eBay, but it is designed in such as way to focus on contextual local searchers, increasing the number of patrons within the actual dealership. CompleteAuto, a subsidiary of RCAU and developer of the listing manager, and Carfax recently entered into an affiliate partnership, whereas users of the CompleteAuto system can access Carfax reports directly from the template within the listing manager. When a user selects this option, RCAU will earn a referral fee for every report generated. On Tuesday, RCAU signed agreements with 10 Toyota dealerships to use the company’s CompleteAuto system to list the dealership’s vehicles on eBay. This agreement has resulted in over 1000 new listings as the dealerships make the switch to the system.
