In October’s Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, a study found that ginger appears to have the ability to reduce the viability of gastric cancer cells by enhancing the cells’ tumor surveillance mechanism. Another study found that ginger also has promise to treat bacteria-induced diarrhea, which is the leading cause of infant death in developing countries.
These two studies further confirm the potency ginger has, and the great health benefits gained from eating and drinking ginger products. For thousands of years ginger has been used as a spice and medicine in Asian cultures. Its distinctive flavor has made it a favorite for countless years.

In the Company’s latest quarterly report, Reed’s announced that net sales increased 31% compared to the same time period last year. There is further potential for future growth as the multi-million dollar beverage industry offers Reed’s plenty of room to grow.
