Reed’s, Inc. (REED) Introduces New Energy Drink at the Natural Foods Expo East in Boston

Reed’s, Inc. (REED), the maker of top-selling non-alcoholic sodas, announced today that it is expanding its beverage line. The company will launch a revolutionary new energy drink, Reed’s Natural Energy Elixir, today at the Natural Foods Expo East. The expo is being held from October 15-17, 2008 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

Reed’s Natural Energy Elixir will be packaged in a 10.5 oz single-use can and initially be marketed to Reed’s existing natural food and supermarket accounts beginning in early 2009. The energy drink is based on Reed’s successful Extra Ginger Brew and incorporates a variety of all-natural ingredients, including 25% fruit juice, to provide consumers with a healthy and natural energy boost. The following beneficial ingredients have been infused into the new beverage:

* Ginger: A powerful antioxidant that increases metabolism, elevates mood, and improves nutritional absorption and digestion.
* Green Tea: A natural source of caffeine that lowers LDL (bad) cholesterol.
* Goji: A fruit used by the Himalayans for its powerful antioxidants to counteract aging and increase immunity.
* Gynostemma: An item often referred to as the immortality herb in Eastern medicine. It contains a wide range of saponins and is known for its ability to restore balance and equilibrium to the body and mind.
* Camu Camu: A rainforest fruit that contains high concentrations of vitamin C and may balance mood and act as a natural antidepressant.
* Ginseng: A plant that increases endurance and counteracts stress.
* L-Theanine: An amino acid that promotes alertness and relaxation.
* B Vitamins: Essential vitamins targeted to counteract stress.
