Hisco, Inc., a leading specialty distribution company that serves the electronic assembly and other industrial markets, has purchased 250 user licenses of Propalms TSE in order to quickly deliver applications to its employees and provide remote access to their files from anywhere.
In business for more than 35 years, Hisco’s branch network is comprised of 25 global stocking locations, and the company’s supplier base includes world-class organizations such as: 3M, Alpha Metals, GE Silicones, Loctite, Brady USA, DuPont Nomex®, Panduit and Intermec. Hisco selected Propalms TSE to easily connect the company’s various locations, employees and suppliers, and to implement a cost-effective solution to its multi-site communication problems.
In other news, Propalms recently announced the acquisition of vFortress, a leading security solution company. Under the terms of the acquisition, Propalms was granted the rights to all vFortress customers and property, including the worldwide IP rights and source code of a Virtual Private Network (VPN) solution. Propalms expects sales to double within the next two years as a result of this acquisition.
