Earlier this afternoon, it was announced that Innovative Holdings, Inc. has contracted PITOOEY! to create “Legal 420”, a mobile application and website designed to help keep the public informed of marijuana legislation in their state.
Legal 420 will provide users with information on the location of doctors, caregivers, and dispensaries as well as find instructions on how to become a caregiver, file paperwork to gain a license, or obtain a marijuana ID card. Alternatively, users can obtain information on current legislation for medical or recreational use in their state and help take action through local advocacy groups.
This application is being built to benefit users in the United States in the wake of the recent decriminalization of marijuana in Colorado and Washington States. Many states are now following suit as it is an innovative approach to increase revenue in a struggling economy under the belief that marijuana should be regulated in a manner similar to alcohol and tobacco.
