PetroSun, Incorporated (PSUD.PK) reports that the company has retained the services of Newport Capital Consultants, Incorporated under a one year consulting agreement.
Newport Capital Consultants will serve as an advisor to PetroSun and assist the company going forward with investment banking, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions and other consulting related services.
Newport Capital Consultants President Mr. Gary Bryant commented, “We are confident that PetroSun is a good fit for Newport because of the strength of the oil and gas sector and the expansion of their alternative biofuels program.”
PetroSun’s current oil and gas operations are concentrated in the Ark-La-Tex region with plans to expand into Arizona and Australia in 2007. Algae BioFuels, a wholly owned subsidiary of PetroSun, is an emerging producer of biodiesel derived from the cultivation of algae. PetroSun is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona with field offices in Shreveport, Louisiana and Opelika, Alabama.
