Perf Go Green Holdings, Inc., a New York-based biodegradable plastics company, was honored for exhibiting products that illustrate premium design quality and innovation at the 2008 International Home & Housewares Show by Design Defined.
The 13 gallon kitchen trash bags and 30 gallon lawn and leaf bags by Perf Go Greene were premiered in March at the International Home & Housewares Show and recognized by a team of Design Finders, who fleshed out the 2,000-plus exhibitors covering one million square feet of showroom floors searching for products that exemplified all qualities of design while achieving a solution to ordinary household storage, clean-up and home décor matters.
Design Defined named Perf Go Green’s products Honoree according to the following criteria:
Innovation
Aesthetics
Usefulness of design
Ecologic responsibility
Economic impact on company’s business
Linda Daniels, Chief Marketing Officer of Perf Go Green said, “With so many new green products available today, we wanted to offer an alternative that was simply better for the environment without sacrificing everyday convenience. We’re especially proud to receive this distinction from Design Defined which further recognizes this commitment.”
Perf Go Green’s patented products will be available for purchase through online retailers in June and nationwide chain stores later this year. The products are made of recycled plastics that combine with the Oxo-Biodegradable proprietary application method to produce the film for the bags, and when discarded in soil, will decompose into simple materials found in nature.
