TelTeck Solutions offers a full line of high-security telematics products that are customizable for specific business needs. All of the products used by TelTeck can be adapted to a company’s already existing security measures to provide real-time, fully functional security that works. Telteck manufactures several products and offers other product combinations that can be purchased for the monitoring and protection of assets and personnel.
GPS solutions are available for both people and property through the use of the Telteck locator unit. The locator unit allows real-time positioning on a map of any person or vehicle equipped with one, and also allows users to listen in on what is going on around the unit at all times. The unit is also equipped with a ”Panic Button” that, once pressed, dials a pre-selected list of telephone numbers in order to obtain immediate assistance for the person under its care.
All GPS units can be combined with GSM (Global System for Mobile) equipment to locate an entire fleet or network of people, vehicles and other equipment. The GSM monitors range in size and power consumption but have the ability to keep track globally of all devices ranging from cell phones and PDAs up to large vehicles. TelTeck even sells a compact flash card which gives laptops and PDAs complete GSM/GPS functionality with worldwide access.
TelTeck Solutions also offers two lesser known services (than GPS and GSMO) which allow users to exchange numerical data between communication systems and to communicate without connectivity to a telecommunication network. The GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) offered by the company can be combined with any of the aforementioned products and support the transmission of both voice and data between two different types of communications equipment.
