Panglobal Brands focuses on selling branded apparel through specialty retailers and department store chains. Current brands include Mynk, a high-end denim product line that can be found at Saks 5th Avenue; Nela, a contemporary dress label; and So Sik, a junior fashions brand.
In a press release this morning, Panglobal Brands announced the appointment of Charles Lesser to the post of Chief Financial Officer. From 2003 to 2007, Mr. Lesser acted as CFO and consultant to Religion Apparel, Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Guru Denim Inc, guiding Religion Apparel from a mere start-up venture to a solid company with $140 million in sales revenue. Mr. Lesser guided True Religion from a public shell through to a NASDAQ listing.
Lesser was quoted saying, “I have been at PNGB for six months and believe that our strategy of having a series of diversified apparel brands is beginning to create revenue opportunities for us within each of our product lines. Initially, our brands consist mainly of women’s apparel, but we have expertise to be able to grow into men’s and kid’s apparel.”
Steven Soller, CEO, also went on record regarding this new addition to the board, “Charles has terrific experience helping True Religion Apparel grow from a start-up apparel venture into a highly-successful Nasdaq company. We are excited to have him as a part of our management team at Panglobal Brands, Inc.”
