WENR Corporation (OTC: WNRC) announced that Airship Surveillance has successfully completed ground testing of its proprietary airship control system. Based out of Nevada, Airship Surveillance is a high technology airship company. Working through vectoring thrusts from the airship’s primary propulsion engine, and the added use of veneer thrusters, the system was created to maximize the maneuverability of the company’s line of unmanned airships during the critical takeoff and landing phases of flight.
Airship Surveillance is currently in the developmental stages of advanced unmanned airships that are designed to fulfill a wide range of roles ranging from surveillance to environmental monitoring. Built to be robust and featuring simple operational equipment, the company’s goal is to provide highly reliable airborne platforms at an affordable cost. The completed ground testing is an exciting achievement for the company, and in the coming month of March, the company has scheduled numerous test flights to be initiated in Southern Nevada.
“Historically, traditional airships experience control difficulties at the low speeds experienced during take-off and landing; thereby, limiting the weather conditions in which they can operate. The Airship Surveillance system overcomes this limitation, greatly increasing the operational capabilities of its airships while at the same time simplifying procedures and reducing manpower levels,” commented Sandy Mangold of Airship Surveillance.
Dan Green of WENR added, “This operational demonstration of the control system will be expanded during the initial flight-testing of the Company’s first airship, which is expected to commence within the next few weeks and will be featured on the Company’s web site.”
WENR Corporation is a holding company that looks to acquire marketing rights in technology, Internet, and pro-environmental companies. They provide senior management assistance and engage in securing working capital for marketing development.
