Mediatechnics Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Silverado Financial, Inc. (OTC: SLVO) has entered into a joint venture with Get Digital Data, LLC, a digital media innovator. The approach of the venture is to bring industrial quality CD and DVD encoding solutions to dealers and service providers worldwide. During Friday’s trading, Silverado Financial, Inc. rose 62.50%.
Mediatechnics is a manufacturer of robotic CD and DVD duplication systems. Combined with Get Digital Data’s encoding center for CD/DVD, Mediatechnics now has the power of such encoding software and GD3 metadata. With home theater and automation systems becoming more and more prominent within the digital media industry, the pairing of the companies allows the customer or dealers who are installing such systems to convert large collections from discs to server compatible digital files. Encode center powered Mediatechnics loaders can process hundreds of discs at once, thus reducing the costs of loading servers for future clients.
