With clinics already in place among numerous Wal-Mart locations in Canada, HearAtLast Holdings, Inc. (OTC: HRAL) announced that they have finalized the next phase of their expansion plans. The phase includes an expansion of HearAtLast’s operations in additional supercentre and discount store locations.
Working with Wal-Mart Canada’s management team, HearAtLast identifies locations for their clinics by utilizing demographic information, thus bringing their services to those populations that most need them. The 2008 calendar year will see the company maintain their growth model within select Canadian Wal-Mart stores.
Just last year, HearAtLast added 14 clinics, increasing the total to 15 locations within Wal-Mart Canada. The expansion doesn’t just involve Canada; in this year alone, six clinics have been added, including the first stand alone clinic in Florida. The company has been working diligently to strengthen their position and brand in the clinical hearing field and retail dispensing market, and intends to continue to research new areas to open more clinics in Canadian Wal-Marts.
