It was early in the new year when World Mobile Network Corp. decided to change their business name to Guyana Gold Corp. (OTC: GYGC), with the announcement taking place on January 15, 2008. This change came from a newly designed business model for the company to follow for the future. In addition, Eduard Aronov was named the new President of the company, taking effect on February 21, 2008.
With an array of business experience that includes international finance, investment banking, natural resource financing, and his current position as an acting business development consultant, Mr. Aronov brings a multitude of years exploring and mining minerals to Guyana Gold Corp. Mr. Aronov has been working in the Guyana region since March of 2000, covering explorations, geology, and mine operations, as well as consulting and corporate business development.
Mr. Aronov commented on his new position, stating, “I couldn’t be more excited to join such a dynamic and innovative company as Guyana Gold Corp. As President of Guyana Gold Corp., my primary directive will be to steer the company towards reaching its production and management objectives.”
