OSI Geospatial, Inc (OSIIF.OB) announced that the International Systems Operations organization has successfully completed an engineering design study to integrate OSI’s world leading submarine navigation software into the submarine Audacious. The results from this study were positive, leading to a new prototype phase that will eventually vest into a production contract from BAE Systems.
Ken Kirkpatrick, President and CEO, specified, “This is our first project with BAE Systems Submarine Solutions and we are looking forward to joining the team to begin the integration work for this very important project. Astute Class submarine is the largest and most powerful attack submarine ever built by the UK Royal Navy and we are honored to be part of this exciting program.”
