OPNET recently released OPNET Panorama 5.5 software, its solution for real-time application monitoring and analytics across complex, multi-server infrastructures. Embedded in OPNET algorithms is a certain intelligence that possesses the knowledge of how network devices, protocols, applications and systems interact, thus allowing users to quickly identify the root cause of problems and predict the impact of changes. This latest release introduces enhancements for large-scale implementations, enabling centralized management for large numbers of servers.
Panorama provides real-time performance analysis of Java and .NET applications by monitoring systems and application metrics within each server, across all tiers. Patented deviation tracking and correlation enable the program to automatically spot performance anomalies, accelerating troubleshooting and also detecting programs early before they reach a critical state. OPNET also announced that Panorama will be available through their SYNERGY Partners, a channel program designed to increase the penetration of OPNET solutions among mid-size IT enterprises.
