On the Move Systems Corp. (OMVS) Pursuing Partnerships in the Lucrative On-Line Travel Space

On the Move Systems, a provider of online travel and transportation solutions, began negotiations last week with an international logistics firm to discuss a partnership.

The company, a general sales agent since 1971, is also a member of The World Freight Company (WFC). Approximately sixty cargo airlines belong to On the Move’s overall portfolio.

An agreement would mean it could become the first logistics company to provide services on OMVS’ comprehensive new online transportation portal.

“The sheer volume of services that a company this size is able to offer makes them a great fit for our business model,” said OMVS CEO Robert Wilson.

OMVS is already involved in agreements in the online travel sector, including investing in JetSet Car Service, a business development agreement with Florida-based air-travel provider the Naples Connection and ongoing negotiations with the Xperience, a company in the fantasy sports getaway business.

The company is working to enhance its partnerships with more cutting-edge travel and transportation providers, building on the network of services that will comprise its online booking portal.

Industry researchers say OMVS’s efforts at pursuing its niche offerings in the online travel segment can represent almost a third of the trillion-dollar global travel market. The company expects to market and develop new solutions that will allow it to compete alongside Priceline.com.

On the Move Systems is focused on using its core technology, the ISTx Platform, to transform and synchronize daily travel operations. As part of its ongoing commitment to excellence, the company continues to research and explore effective and resourceful tools in order to serve its customers with unique travel requirements in the billion dollar online travel industry.
