OMVS in Talks with Software Developer for On-Demand Freight Platform

As On the Move Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:OMVS) continues to develop its innovative “Uber for trucking” platform that is expected to revolutionize the trucking industry, the Company announced it has met with a software developer to plan its on-demand services.

This development moves the unique program one step closer to its debut, as the Company continues its talks with select software design firms regarding the layout of the platform. The Company’s emerging roster of trucking partners interested in joining the platform ensures there will be a high number of sharing-economy sources incorporated, and the Company has set its standards accordingly.

“We anticipate a great deal of interest in our platform,” said OMVS CEO Robert Wilson. “Incorporating a number of independent truckers and trucking companies into a sharing-economy platform that is user friendly is a big effort. As we move forward with securing the design, we’re setting our sights on a software developer that can handle the information this platform will require. We’re taking great care to ensure the eventual roll out of our platform will go smoothly.”

The Company will continue talks with software developers to determine best practices for creating a timeline for the launch of the platform. The innovative sharing-economy on-demand freight platform will allow users to request local customized carriers for their freight. This revolutionary technology will allow the company to compete alongside Con-way Freight (NYSE: CNW), SAIA Inc. (NASDAQ: SAIA) and Old Dominion Freight Lines (NASDAQ: ODFL).
