According to industry statistics, global spending on gaming apps tripled to $16 billion in 2013. In lieu of this growth and continuing growth potential in the future, OBJ Enterprises is looking to develop a set of next-generation gaming apps that offer groundbreaking levels of user interactivity.

With company representatives at the SXSW Interactive in Austin, the company scouted new breakthroughs in wearable technology that could offer such a new gameplaying experience. OBJ Enterprises CEO Paul Watson noted the value wearable technologies might have for mobile gaming in the future. “Dating back to last year’s Cloud Gaming Conference, we’ve seen an explosion of interest in wearable technology from Google Glass to baby monitoring systems. This is the direction that mobile games are heading in, and we plan to be a leader in this new movement.”

OBJ Enterprises will be sending representatives to the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, California this week to scout out other breakthroughs in wearable technology. The company has already begun to move towards incorporating this cutting-edge technology its growing suite of mobile gaming apps. Recently, OBJ Enterprises signed a letter of intent with Flying Mollusk LLC, a developer of a cutting-edge biofeedback technology that connects players to gaming devices via heart-monitoring sensors. The technology then can be adapted for suiting and challenging gamers’ stress levels. The letter of intent was the beginning step for OBJ Enterprises to license the biofeedback technology in its portfolio of gaming apps.

The biofeedback technology is said to have substantial disruption potential for the gaming market. With this possibility, OBJ Enterprises looks to partner with up-and-coming gaming innovators such as Flying Mollusk for creation of engaging gaming titles with strong consumer appeal.

Through its gaming division, OBJ Enterprises is looking to deliver gaming titles for the Apple App Store and Google Play market.
