Norsat International, Inc. (NSATF.OB) Gets $1.2M in Department of Defense Satellite Systems Contracts

A subsidiary of Norsat International, Inc. (OTCBB: NSATF) has been awarded United States Department of Defense contracts totaling $1.2 million for its satellite systems technology. The contracts are short-term and Norsat is expected to fill them in the company’s fourth quarter.

“This is our third recent announcement of significant new business with the U.S. DOD,” said Dr. Amiee Chan, Norsat President and CEO. “We believe these successive contract wins are evidence of the growth momentum in the ground satellite systems industry. We will continue working to grow our suite of technology and associated services to capitalize on the market opportunity and drive further success in our satellite systems business.”
