Noble Roman’s, Inc. is the franchisor of Noble Roman’s Pizza and Tuscano’s Subs for both non-traditional and traditional locations in 45 states plus a limited number of international locations, primarily in military bases. In addition, it has sold franchise agreements for military bases in Puerto Rico, Guam and Italy, and for entertainment facilities and convenience stores in Canada. The franchise was created over 35 years ago on the Indiana University campus.
Over the past year the company has continued to grow and expand by selling development territories to Area Developers. They have added area developments in ten counties surrounding Cleveland, Ohio, and include a development schedule requiring 60 new franchise locations within the territory over the next eight years.
The company has also designed a plan designed to sustain the company’s historical growth trends over the next year and beyond. As a part of that plan, the company will continue to focus on development of franchises for both non-traditional and traditional locations featuring co-branded Noble Roman’s Pizza and Tuscano’s Italian Style Subs.
The franchise saw positive financials in the third quarter of last year with an increase of 42.3% and 58.2%, respectively in earnings over the comparable periods in 2006. They have also entered into an amended loan agreement with Wells Fargo Bank. This amendment provides the company with an additional $3 million. This amendment allows the company to repurchase shares of its common stock, and the proceeds of the additional loan may also be used for general corporate purposes.
Noble Roman believes that their success is based on having hard workers that are dedicated to the success of the franchise. The management team includes Chairman & CEO Paul W. Mobley who according to the company you can “find here at work 7 days a week!” Other key members include A. Scott Mobley, Troy Branson, Mitchell Grunat and Michael B. Novak.
Noble Roman’s Inc. is dedicated to quality taste, operational simplicity, and economic performance.
