New Energy Systems Group (NEWN.OB) Welcomes Li Liu to Board

Lithium battery and power systems expert New Energy Systems Group announced today that it has welcomed a new member to its Board of Directors: Mr. Li Liu. As an independent member, his appointment brings the number of independent directors to two out of a total of four board members.

With his appointment, Mr. Li Liu adds over 20 years of senior engineering and business experience to New Energy Systems. Having successfully built and managed a variety of companies within the technical design space, Liu is well versed and prepared for his new role. Mr. Liu has served as general manager of Shenzhen Everstar Technology Co., Ltd. since early 2007; prior to that, he was as technical director of Shenzhen ASA Industry Co., Ltd., the world’s largest DVD loader manufacturer.

Mr. Liu also spent 16 years in various engineering capacities with electronic device manufacturers. He holds a total of five separate patents and has received numerous scientific and technical honors. Mr. Liu is an MBA graduate of the Economics and Management School of Wuhan University, and holds a Bachelor degree of Engineering from Southeast University with a Major in Semiconductor Physics and Devices.
