Neutra Corp., a growing provider of all-natural wellness solutions, announced today that development is currently underway on a new advanced prototype of the company’s innovative, disposable cannabis testing strips.
Led by Dr. Richard C. Kaufman, the company’s new head of research and development in the $42 billion nutraceuticals industry, NTRR is developing a disposable system for testing oils, butters, tinctures, resins and other concentrates derived from medical marijuana (MMJ) for potentially harmful contaminants. As the use and regulation of MMJ continues to spread across the country, demand for simple, reliable testing for molds, fungi and chemicals is exploding from state agencies, dispensaries and patients alike.
Early last month, NTRR signed a laboratory agreement to begin analyzing the effectiveness of its new test strips. Now, the company is forging ahead with a new prototype system that improves upon the efficacy and efficiency of the original design.
If successful, the innovative system could help NTRR capture a big share of an MMJ testing market poised for unprecedented growth as more and more states sign MMJ laws.
“We’re excited to offer MMJ patients a closer, more detailed look at what they’re consuming,” said NTRR CEO Sydney Jim.
