Neutra Corp. passed a major milestone in its mission to deliver cutting-edge solutions to the booming nutraceutical marketplace this week when the company wrapped the first phase of design on its new horticultural post-production technology.
Since August, NTRR has been hard at work building a new system capable of making the post-production work on cut flowers and greens significantly faster and more efficient than any technology currently on the market. In the first phase of design, the prototype system was thoroughly tested with an emphasis on devising improvements. In the second phase of the process, engineers will modify the design to increase its mobility, functionality and user-friendliness.
It will be the next step in the company’s plans to capture a share of the booming $1.7 billion medical marijuana (MMJ) market in the U.S. by delivering advanced technology to improve production quality and efficiency in the nascent industry. Variations in the care and handling of plants before and after they’re cut can make it difficult for patients to accurately predict the benefits they will receive from cannabis from strain to strain and dispensary to dispensary.
It’s a growing problem that NTRR plans to solve with its growing suite of horticultural technologies. In addition to its post-production system, the company is also working with partners such as Vertigo Technologies, LLC, and Surface to Air Solutions, LLC (S2O2) to produce better, more reliable nutraceuticals for patients in need.
By providing innovative horticultural technologies for use in the fast-growing medical marijuana (MMJ) industry, Neutra Corp. plans to follow in the footsteps of other successful public companies including Cannabis Science, Inc. (CBIS), Medical Marijuana Inc. (MJNA) and Terra Tech Corp. (TRTC).
