NBC’s “The Today Show” Hosts Emmy Award Winning Chris Balish and Hybrid Technologies, Inc.’s (HYBR.OB) Lithium Powered Vehicles

This morning, America’s favorite morning show, NBC’s “The Today Show”, featured Hybrid Technologies’ LiVTM series of lithium-powered vehicles. Several weeks ago, acclaimed broadcast journalist Chris Balish contacted the company asking to feature them on the show, to which they agreed. Featured on the show were three prominent vehicles from the company: the WISE, an efficient and affordable daily driver; the RUSH, their high-end electric sportscar; and the RYDER, their attention-getting chopper.

As the cost of living continues to increase, gas prices are a growing concern among consumers, especially those with a long commute. The increasing cost to commuters is why Hybrid Technologies continues to be approached by media from around the world inquiring about their continual advances in ion-battery technology. Chris Balish, known as the bestselling author of “How to Live Well Without Owning a Car: Save Money, Breathe Easier, and Get More Mileage Out of Life” and several Emmy awards, wanted to feature a practical electric car company that he believed could change the lives of people, and that is how Hybrid Technologies was chosen.

Electric vehicles from Hybrid Technologies are reasonably priced and can be charged in as short as 6-8 hours using surplus electricity. The name might be deceiving, because the Mooersville, North Carolina-based company makes engine-free, fully electric vehicles, and not hybrids. Fully electric vehicles can deliver considerable savings to the owner, operating at savings ratios of 80-90% per mile versus traditional cars. The efficiency and savings of the company has been documented in Popular Mechanics magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Forbesk, and on more than 800 radio and television stations around the globe.
