Nascent Food Service, Inc. (NCTW.OB) Has Grown Exponentially Over the Past Years

Nascent is one of the first and fastest growing distributors in Mexico. They started in 2001 as a small family company, and then grew through three acquisitions. In May of 2006 they became a publicly traded company and made three more acquisitions.

Today they carry over 1,500 items to many different retail stores in Mexico. Much of the retail market place in Mexico is made up of supermarket chains such as Wal-mart, but 60% of the business is conducted by 500,000 small retail stores. Nascent currently delivers their products to the small retail stores, but they have more planned.

Their current growth strategy for the coming years is to grow through acquisitions. Instead of buying and restructuring the companies, they plan on using the same owner and employees; and simply fold them into their current distribution centers. This will keep the revenue the companies make each year intact, but instead of the revenue going to the previous owner; the revenue is redirected to Nascent Food Service.
