MyECheck Inc. (MYEC.OB) Teams with Urgent Care Billing & Collections for Better Service at Hospitals and Urgent Care Facilities

MyECheck Inc. (MYEC.OB) announced today that it has signed an agreement with Urgent Care Billing and Collections of America (UCBCA) to provide its suite of electronic check processing services.

UCBCA focuses on taking care of the billing services for doctors’ offices, hospitals, medical clinics, and urgent care facilities. Payroll, accounts payable, soft and hard collections, and electronic billing are some of the areas that the billing service performs. UCBCA demands high standards in its processing, including requiring three pairs of eyes to view data entry before final processing, confirming all coverage before data is entered, and processing claims electronically daily.

The agreement with MyECheck will allow UCBCA customers to use their checking accounts as another option for online payments. Families never know when they’ll need to visit an urgent care, and the MyECheck systems will allow patients to more easily pay for services.

The MyECheck software payment engine utilizes a patented technology to generate remotely created checks (RCCs) in accordance with the Check 21 specification. Using the US Patent No 7,389,913 “Method and Apparatus for Online Check Processing” within its software suite provides MyECheck with a significant competitive advantage, as it has the ability to debit any U.S.-based checking account. ACH processing is more limited in this regard and, therefore, provides retailers with fewer clients.

MyECheck will be able to provide a more convenient method of payment for those individuals making unexpected visits to emergency rooms and urgent care facilities, as well as those who routinely meet with their healthcare providers. Providing a convenient, safe, and secure method of payments is a wonderful step for health care providers to make a sometimes unpleasant trip more bearable.
