MyECheck Inc., (OTCBB:MYEC), signed two agreements today. The first agreement is with Symmetry Direct Corporation. The company will be providing the online retailer with its electronic check processing services. Symmetry customers will be able to use their checking accounts as another means of making online payments.
The second agreement was signed with Checkgateway, an electronic payment services company. The company’s merchant clients will be able to process remotely-created check transactions through the MyECheck payment platform. Checkgateway has been in the payment processing business since 1939.
Ed Starrs, CEO of MyECheck, commented, “The Federal Reserve’s 2007 study on non-cash payments, released December 10, 2007, revealed that electronic payments now exceed two-thirds of all non-cash payments. The highest rate of growth from 2003 to 2006, the period covered by the study, was in eCheck payments. Our Check 21 solution satisfies the growing need for eCommerce payment solutions, and we look to further promote continued growth with our partners.”
