Monster Arts has debuted an exciting, new mobile edutainment app for Ocean Aire Productions. Pookie Monsters goes after the coveted and fast growing market of pre-teens who are spending more and more time on smartphones.
Mobile games have become the most popular and widely used category of apps. Users spend, on average, about 7.8 hours a month gaming on their phones. 64% of mobile game users use their game apps on a daily basis. Ocean Aire, with the help of Monster Arts, is excited to use Pookie Monsters to reach these users.
The Pookie Monsters app was developed after Sarah Tucker, Ocean Aire’s president, and her husband, Stan, noticed how well the students of their own martial arts studio responded to fun, skill building apps. The couple clearly intends on using Pookie Monsters to help their company tap into the explosive mobile device market; they decided to roll out Pookie Monsters and use their students as a focus group and beta-test audience during the development and roll out of its release.
Pookie Monsters by Monster Arts will allow Ocean Aire Productions to take advantage of the company’s “built-in” distribution channels by offering a fresh mobile experience to loyal and existing customers, as well as enabling the company to reach even more potential customers with a new flair.
“After years of developing concepts, illustrations, multi-media training, and entertainment in our target demographic, we realized we needed to focus on our market and customer base when developing this mobile game concept,” commented Stan Lee, Ocean Aire Production’s co-founder. “These kids all love mobile games, and we value greatly, our extensive collected research and feedback from our target demographic; the kids. Our goal was to make this skill-building game as appealing and fun as possible. It is so rewarding to see the children for whom we wanted to build this for, feel like they are part of the development process. We are looking forward to enhancing this project and chasing after a few others with Monster Arts.”
Wayne Irving II, Monster Art’s CEO, remarked, “The Pookie Monster brand and visuals have impressive presentation and concept. Pookie Monsters is poised to be a major success and addition to the Ocean Aire Productions’ successful multi-media projects.”
