Modavox, Inc. (MDVX.OB) Internet Talk Show Nominated for 2007 People’s Design Award

Modavox announced this afternoon that its show with Debbie Millman, “Design Matters,” has been nominated for the 2007 People’s Design Award from the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, which is part of the Smithsonian Institution. The award’s destination is chosen by the public’s vote based on the most exceptional contribution to the graphic design field.

The show, sponsored by Adobe Corporation, is a great resource for those seeking news, opinions, thoughts, and trends on the dynamic world of graphic design and corporate branding. Debbie Millman, the host of the show, is a managing partner and president of the design division at Sterling Group, one of the nation’s leading brand identity firms.

Jeff Spenard, President of Internet Radio at Modavox, stated, “’Design Matters’ has grown in reputation over its nearly four-year run. Today it attracts many of the luminaries of the world of design, giving students, professionals and the general public unparalleled insight into the images, objects and symbols that shape modern culture. Being nominated for the People’s Choice Award is a well-deserved honor for both the show and for Debbie Millman–and indicative of the upbeat, thought-provoking power of the show itself.”

The show currently attracts 150,000+ viewers and has been voted a favorite podcast on IF’s Marketing Podcast survey.
