The premier Internet Media Distribution Company, Modavox, announced that it will deliver Live Online broadcasts November 29th and December 12th for Association of State Colleges and Universities and Society for College and University Planning. The webcasts will include Assessment/Accountability and climate change for Higher education. They are offered free of charge for registered attendees. AASCU and SCUP feel that Modavox enables them to deliver their information quickly and interactively giving their professional programs, which is needed for sustainability.
Modavox holds numerous patents on Internet broadcasting and are considered a pioneer of the field. They operate in two divisions: Internet Radio and Interactive Media. The internet radio division offers Boom Box Radio™, Modavox’s patented internet radio product line. Their other division includes the Boom Box Video™ used to distribute Video content via the Web.
The company is seeing strong growth in their divisions and has plans to expand to national “Foot Print” by 2009. On their recently reported second quarter results they saw notable increases in revenue. Modavox also reported a Year over Year growth in net income of 194%.
