MIPSolutions, Inc. (MSOL.OB) announced today that it has entered into an agreement with American Mining Corporation (AMC) to research groundwater contamination problems associated with the mining industry.
“American Mining Corporation recognizes the significant opportunity associated with refurbishing previous production sites utilizing MIPS’s unique technology,” Gary MacDonald, President of AMC stated. “Advancing this technology will greatly improve the extraction process and we look forward to the development of a commercial test site.”
MIPSolutions is a leading developer of technology involved with targeting and capturing molecules in the mining, environmental, water and medical fields. MIPSolutions combines its own intellectual property with technology licensed from The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory to develop a process that captures specifically targeted molecules.
The molecules are collected and can be reused, recycled or sold, which is a superior environmentally friendly solution. This type of process is essential in extracting contaminates and will advance the development of cleansing procedures when a problem does occur.
