Yesterday, Safe Technologies International (SFAZ.OB) announced that it has been selected by Andrex, Inc. to use its SDS suite of services to manage storage requirements. Andrex, the New Jersey based manufacturer of flexible conduit, provides materials used in marine, military, aerospace, medical and industrial applications.
Safe Technologies of Boca Raton, FL is a technology solutions company, providing IT services that entail data backup, data recovery and office solutions through their SDS – Strategic Data Support – brand.
Initially considering developing their own system to store their data, Andrex decided to retain Safe Technologies’ SDS suite of services to take their system to cloud computing. Andrex was enticed by the benefits of working in the cloud, such as quick implementation time and a high scaling ability. Andrex has deployed the SDS system across all its operations, automating backups and data recovery. The new SDS system is completely integrating with Andrex’s pre-existing systems.
Brian Barends, Product Manager, Andrex Inc., said, “With clients that include GE, TYCO and the Aerospace Industry, the ultimate security of our data and IT environment is of paramount importance to us and downtime is unthinkable. SDS deployed their solution to Andrex with zero downtime and no hiccups.”
Christopher Kolb, President, Safe Technologies, added, “Andrex was a perfect candidate for our Data SafeHarbor Live service. Our real-time imaging and backup ensure that both their software and data are available 24/7, 365 days a year. Andrex has joined the thousands of companies that manage their critical enterprise needs in the cloud, enabling them to focus on their growth rather than the hardware and software to support it.”
