NewMarket Technology, Inc. (OTCBB: NMKT) announced its regional subsidiary, RKM IT Solutions, has been contracted by Microsoft to install and operate its System Center. RKM IT will install and implement the virtual and physical System Center IT environment for an unnamed petrochemical company in Venezuela.
RKM IT is already an established presence in the South American company. It is Microsoft’s fourth largest account reseller and an Enterprise Software Advisor throughout the continent for corporate clients with 250 PCs or more. NewMarket itself provides certified systems integration, maintenance and support services for standards from Microsoft, Oracle, Infor, Cisco Systems, SAP, Siebel, Sun Microsystems and more.
In a news release, the company stated it has grown to more than $50 million in 2005 profitable revenue, up from less than a $1 million in 2001. In 2007 the company reported $93.1 million in revenue, with a net income of $7.3 million.
In Latin America alone, NewMarket had $12.6 million in profitable revenue in the first 6 months of the year. In growth terms, NewMarket ranked #1 in Texas, #3 in the United States and #5 in North America on Deloitte’s latest 2006 Technology Fast 500, a ranking of technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies.
