AmeriChip International, Inc. is creating, leading and producing a new worldwide market being referred to as dry or green machining. Dry machining is the cutting of metal or other materials, but eliminates certain fluids that are dangerous to the environment. The company’s patented Laser Assisted Chip Control Process (LACC) provides lower cost, higher quality, and clean manufacturing since the technology is environment friendly.
The company desires to make a big splash in the worldwide dry machining market, especially in the multi-billion dollar oil pipe coupling and threading segment, and the metal turning industry with emphasis on the machining of steel parts such as axle and drive shafts, connecting rods, axle tubes and hubs. Over the years, the manufacturing of wind energy towers has been improving and introducing new machining components for steel parts, an area that the AmeriChip may place more focus on.
In the last 15 years, AmeriChip has engineered and tested a new technology designed to eliminate the dangerous ribbon-like steel chips that become tangled around moving tool parts. The technology immediately makes a work environment safer to work in, reduces costs for injuries and failed equipment, and enables companies to work with increased productivity.
The company is currently Tier One Supplier for GM, Ford, Chrysler, Honda, Toyota, Caterpillar, and Magna Corporation. The sequential revenue for AmeriChip for the last three quarters is $958,000 for the November 30, 2007 quarter, $864,000 for the August quarter, and $628,000 for the May quarter. Revenue for the quarter ending February 29, 2008 is to be near $1,250,000, up 30% from the November quarter. AmeriChip has received orders from Detroit-based automakers totaling $550,000 that will be processed for the first few months of 2008.
