In recent news, Mega Media Group announced that it has executed an affiliate agreement with America’s #2 music store, Apple iTunes. This agreement will allow visitors of www.pulse87.com to download music that is currently playing on the radio station.
Along with this major announcement, the company also advised that it has inked an agreement with Spark Network Services, a provider of SMS and IVR mobile technology which also operates a leading, online, fee-based dating service. Pulse87 will strategically use Spark Network Services’ SMS technology to distribute text messages regarding contests, voting and interactive services between listeners and on-air hosts.
The CEO of Mega Media Group, Alex Shvarts, stated, “We are actively branching out beyond radio broadcasting into ancillary activities that allow us to use our core business as a platform for new businesses. Our participation in the i-Tunes affiliate program allows our listeners to instantly purchase music they hear on air through our website while generating passive income for Mega Media.”
