MedeFile will implement a multi-tiered marketing strategy to generate awareness of the company’s products and services, including both grass root initiatives and traditional approaches. MedeFile will promote its products and services via direct sales, direct mail campaigns, radio advertisements, television infomercials, speaking engagements by senior management, participation in trade shows and strategic alliances.
The company’s marketing strategy will target HMOs, PPOs, insurance companies, unions, managed care organizations, home health care agencies, retirement communities and nursing homes. Sales will be generated through direct sales and online memberships. In addition to these methods, the company will target physician offices for referrals with the benefit of allowing doctors to add medical information directly to the patient’s MedeFile; large group organizations (e.g. AARP) with memberships offered at a discount; and insurance companies in an effort to reduce their processing costs by offering MedeFile’s services to their customers.
Membership can be purchased directly on the MedeFile website, on an annual or monthly basis, and may be paid all at once or over time at the member’s discretion.
