MedeFile International, Inc. (OTCBB: MDFI) specializes in providing a total solution for the management of medical records and images. MedeFile International was founded by a group of physicians, entrepreneurs and medical record specialists, and is driven to provide state-of-the-art solutions in portable records management. MedeFile International has established a firm set of core values including innovation, quality, people, integrity, good health, simplicity, teamwork, and results, and does its best to follow them daily.
The MedeFile product is especially useful to people who want to actively participate in their health management. MedeFile collects, maintains, and stores its customers’ medical records, making them available in a digital format to the medical community anywhere in the world. This is especially critical if a customer is unconscious or in a foreign country.
A customer first creates his own Digital Health Profile, which includes his medical history in a summary form. His medical history might include information such as drug reactions, allergies, blood type, and other important information, as well as recent medical treatments. He revises this form as needed by faxing documents directly to MedeFile.
MedeFile stores each medical history in the MedeVault. The MedeVault is a highly secure repository of medical histories, and customers can access the vault 24 hours a day. MedeVault uses state-of-the=art technology to maintain privacy. The customer can then download his complete medical history onto a MedeDrive – a USB that holds his complete medical history. The customer can carry this wherever he goes, so regardless of his location, he or the medical community can access his medical records in an emergency.
