According to a recent announcement, MedeFile’s portable electronic medical record storage solutions’ cheering section just got a lot larger. The company signed a strategic marketing agreement with Hayes Clinical Laboratory, one of the largest independent testing facilities in Florida.
Each year, through its five South Florida locations, Hayes Labs administers full-service medical testing to over 180,000 patients. The majority of these recipients are referred by Hayes’ extensive client base of nearly 500 healthcare practitioners. Hayes has expressed its interest in the MedeFile system, hoping to combat testing redundancy, which can occur when accurate track of a patient’s record is not kept. This, of course, leads to financial strain on laboratories and patients alike. Hayes has agreed to offer MedeFile’s product to its patients, as well as actively encourage referring physicians to adopt the cost-cutting system.
