Max Sound is coming off a busy couple of days of attending Qualcomm’s Uplinq™ 2013 conference, where it showcased its proprietary MAX-D HD Audio technology to Qualcomm’s OEMs.
Max Sound Corp. demonstrated the MAX-D technology on the Snapdragon Development Platform. After the company joined Qualcomm’s Hexagon DSP Access Program in October 2012, it integrated the MAX-D technology with the Hexagon DSP processor, which lets MAX-D improve the perceived quality of audio sources on the Snapdragon platform while also retaining the low power offered by the Hexagon DSP architecture.
Snapdragon platform provides a comprehensive set of multimedia baseline features, and the MAX-D technology is fully integrated into this provided audio solution. Max Sound is offering its solution to OEMS, carriers and operators in combination with its Android music store application, called Liquid Spins http://liquidspins.com.
Uplinq™ provides an industry view into where wireless technologies, products, and services are heading, and facilitates the business connections essential to making money. This year’s conference was held September 3-5 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel. Uplinq™ demonstrated a cross-platform view of how to use the complete hardware-software system in wireless-connected devices to enhance user experiences.
Max Sound was joined by other mobile developers and publishers that developed Hexagon DSP Access Program implementations of their IPs, including Samsung, Sony, Blackberry, LG, Verizon, AT & T, and US Cellular.
