Material Technologies, Inc. (MTTG.OB) on the Set of MoneyTV

Material Technologies, Inc. (MTTG) was recently featured on nationally syndicated MoneyTVCEO to discuss the company’s patented metal fatigue technology. Donald Baillargeon and Skip Lindeman host MoneyTV to educate the show’s audience through interviews with company CEOs regarding their companies, products, operations and markets.

MATECH CEO Robert Bernstein and COO Marybeth Micelli were featured as guests on MoneyTV to highlight the company’s achievements and operations. As a guest on MoneyTV, the MATECH discussion was broadcasted to 70 million U.S. homes, 45 million homes in Western Europe, the Virgin Islands, and Thailand on the Broad TV Network.

Founded in 1983, awareness of MATECH increased in August of 2007 after a bridge in Minnesota collapsed, killing 13 people and injuring hundreds. The company’s advice was sought due to the reputation of its patented Electrochemical Fatigue Sensor (EFS) technology. The instrument detects fatigue cracks in metals in various structures including bridges, ships, cranes, railways, power plants, nuclear facilities, chemical plants, mining equipment, piping systems and heavy iron.

MATECH also produces the Fatigue Fuse which integrates the effect of fatigue loading in a metal structure, warning inspectors if established fatigue life has been used up. This helps prevent surprise deterioration or failure.
