In observance of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, the U.S. exchanges will observe the following schedule:
Thursday, December 24, 2009
– All equity and option markets will close at 1 p.m. (ET)
– The fixed income market will close at 2 p.m. (ET)
– The markets for preferred stocks and equity UIT’s will close at 12:45 p.m. (ET)
– After-hours trading will operate from 1:15 p.m. to 3 p.m. (ET)
– Auction-Rate Preferred’s close at 9:15 a.m.
Friday, December 25, 2009
– All U.S. exchanges will be closed.
Monday, December 28, 2009
– Normal trading session hours for all markets will resume.
Thursday December 31, 2009
– The fixed income market will close at 2 p.m. (ET)
– Extended-hours trading and the markets for equities, options, and equity only UIT’s will operate under normal trading hours.
– Auction-Rate Preferred’s close at 9:15 a.m.
Friday, January 1, 2010
– All U.S. exchanges will be closed.
Monday, January 4, 2010
– Normal trading session hours for all markets will resume.
