Many Believe Corn Ethanol Will Cause Greater World Hunger, Stratos Renewables Corp. (SRNW.OB) Uses Sugar

Laws that continue to promote Corn Ethanol’s use are said to contribute to world hunger according to experts. This is due to increased food prices driven by the higher demand curve of corn in the Global picture. Bloomberg told reporters in a response to a U.N General Assembly debate on Global Warming, “People literally will starve to death in parts of the world, it always happens when food prices go up.”

The new laws in the US alone increase Bio-fuel’s use 500% current levels. One must also take into account recent EU laws that continue to ask for higher levels of Ethanol. This leads to higher corn prices across the board.

US laws continue to subsidize corn production as opposed to sugar, a much better alternative. Sugar is not only not a staple food crop it also has the benefit of having one of the lowest emissions levels. Corn compared to sugar costs far more to produce because of the immense transportation, and production costs.

This is where Stratos shines as they produce vertically integrated Sugar Ethanol. Starting from the fields to the final exportation, they offer the lowest costing ethanol in the world. Many believe that countries like Peru and Brazil should produce what they are good at, sugar, and the US should produce corn, which is what it is good at doing. It is expert’s belief that if this can be done, the world will be better off all together and Stratos stands to profit immensely from this.

Stratos Renewables Corp. is a Peruvian based sugarcane ethanol producer. It is their belief that they can produce the highest yields at the lowest cost worldwide within the northern coast of Peru. They are currently completing an expansion on their existing facility and have initiated a multi-phase growth strategy to become the leader of ethanol production in Peru. Peruvian agrarian experts as well as Bio-Fuel executives founded the company that trades publicly on the Over-The-Counter exchange.
