Joytoto USA Inc. (JYTO.OB) has announced that it will complete the development of its U.S. web distribution portal – http://www.playolive.com – during the third quarter of 2008. The first downloadable online game scheduled for release on the site will be “Pang Pang Terrible”.
“Pang Pang Terrible” is a first-person shooter (FPS) game that has been widely successful in Joytoto’s Korean market. This next-generation FPS allows players to view the game from a shooter’s perspective and to personalize their online persona with different attributes from a showroom of choices.
The U.S. portal will be used to market online games licensed through a North American Master License Agreement with Joyon Entertainment Co., Ltd. The agreement allows Joytoto to distribute up to 28 online titles from Joyon’s collection of games to the U.S. market. The next phase of online games for release includes additional FPS games, Massively Multiple Online Role Playing Games (MMORPGs), sports games, board games, and casual games.
