Bucher’s career spans three decades, including 14 years as a research analyst working exclusively on the communication technology and services sectors. He spent several years working with wireless carriers that are now part of Verizon Wireless. Prior to Motorola Mobility, John served as a buy-side financial analyst for an investment management company. His coverage responsibilities included the wireless, cable, wireline, optical, and satellite equipment and services sectors.

Prior to that, he held several director-level management positions with Bell Atlantic/NYNEX Mobile and PrimeCo Personal Communications. His professional career started with U.S. Marine Corps, having served as an officer for 10 years.
Bill Ogle, Blue Calypso’s CEO, commented, “I am thrilled to have the caliber of a leader like John Bucher joining the Blue Calypso Board of Advisors.
