Founded in 2004, Jammin Java Corp. provides premium roasted coffee on a wholesale level. They provide their coffee to the service, hospitality, office coffee service, and big box store industry. Jammin Java Corp.’s shares trade on the OTC Bulletin Board. They were formerly known as Marley Coffee Inc. and changed their name to Jammin Java Corp. in July 2009. The Company has their headquarters in Beverly Hills, California.
Jammin Java Corp. is a gourmet coffee company with a commitment to sourcing premier beans from around the world. The Company intends to develop a share of the roasted coffee category and create a leadership position by capitalizing on the success of the Marley Coffee name via their co-branding license relationship with the privately owned Marley Coffee company.
Their strategy is also to create other product lines under the Jammin’ Java brand. They have positioned their gourmet product line for the significant trend and growing consumer awareness towards organic, fairly traded premium and super premium specialty coffees. They roast their coffee beans in small batches to ensure premium quality.
Jammin Java Corp. offers their Mountain Roast Swiss Water® Decaf, with beans sourced from Central & South America. This coffee is guaranteed to be 100 percent chemical free. Their decaf product uses the unique Swiss Water® Process using pure water from the mountains of British Columbia, Canada, to gently remove the caffeine. As a result, the beans maintain their distinctive, delicate, and smooth characteristics.
The Company also offers their Kingston City Roast Espresso, with beans from Central & South America/Africa. The coffee’s name is in honor of the largest city in Jamaica and pays homage to the world’s great appreciation of reggae. In addition, Jammin Java Corp. offers their Lion’s Blend with beans sourced from Central & South America/Africa as well. This is the Company’s signature blend.
In January, Jammin Java Corp. began selling their fresh roasted premium line of gourmet fair trade organic coffee to leading culinary distributor Cooking.com. During the next quarter, Jammin Java intends to provide products to more business-to-consumer companies like Cooking.com, and also provide a state of the art online business-to-business distribution center.
Last week, Jammin Java Corp. announced the appointment of Paola Dooly to the Company’s Board of Directors. Ms. Dooly will serve as the Company’s Director of Sales. She will be a key executive working closely with the Company’s current management to focus on increasing revenues through sales. She has more than 15 years of sales and marketing experience, specifically in the area of brand building on a national level.
